Audrey Petty, CMP

Limestone Events was founded by Audrey Petty, a certified meeting professional, who has worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years.  She has a passion for the industry and will work diligently to ensure the success of your meeting or event.

 

Her experience in hotel management and meeting & event planning provides a unique operations perspective that will benefit your organization. While serving as the Executive Director of Bourbon Women Association, she was responsible for planning board meetings to experiential bourbon themed events as well as the annual meeting!

 

Prior to that, Audrey was director of meetings and events for a destination management company where she planned special events, incentive trips and provided transportation management for conferences and city wide conventions.  As a director of catering, she coordinated non-profit events, galas, wedding ceremonies, receptions, and social events.

 

Audrey earned the Certified Meeting Professional designation in 2000 and continues to participate in industry organizations and continuing education.  The CMP credential is recognized globally as the esteemed badge of excellence in the events industry. The qualifications for certification are based on professional experience, education and a rigorous exam overseen by the Events Industry Council. She is a member of Meeting Professionals International and has served on the Kentucky Bluegrass Chapter board of directors. Audrey was recently awarded the 2019 Meeting Planner of the Year Award by the KBC MPI chapter. Prior to that, she received the 1998 Meeting Planner of the Year Award and the 2000 Chapter Leader of the Year Award.
